 Are you looking for something to refreshen you up? Make you happy? You’re on the right track. In this post, I’ll share the ultimate recipe of Lemon Bars that I guarantee will bring a smile to your face.

What you’ll need:

2 & 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

2/3 cups powdered sugar

12 tablespoons of unsalted melted butter

3 tablespoons Lemon Zest (zest of three lemons)

3 cups Sugar (600g)

8 Eggs (large, room temperature)

1 cup Lemon Juice (fresh, 240mL)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350*F.

2. Sift 2 cup flour, salt, and powdered sugar into a bowl and whisk it well.

3. Add the melted butter to the bowl. With a spatula, mix it well.

4. Spread out the dough on a 9x13 baking pan after greasing it. Bake it at 350F for 20 minutes.

5. Add the sugar to your food processor then grate in the zest of three lemons. Pulse it 3 times.

6. Next, sift the sugar and remaining flour. Whisk it.

7. Add the eggs and lemon juice to the flour mixture. Whisk it and make sure the flour mix is fully incorporated with the lemon juice and eggs.

8. Place the liquid on to the dough in baking pan after it is baked.

9. Bake for about 25 minutes at 350F or until the center is just set. Rotate pan halfway through baking.

10. After it’s done, let it rest for an hour.

11. Then, dust with powdered sugar for a little visual contrast.

12. Keep it in refrigerator and eat whenever you want!

ALWAYS use fresh lemon juice!
